The model behind AI text edits
AI Image Text Editor, JPG Text Editor, PNG Text Editor, and Remove Text from Image use OpenAI GPT Image 2 through the KIE.ai image-to-image API (gpt-image-2-image-to-image). There is no selectable model or active fallback. The local Add Text to Image tool uses browser rendering rather than an AI model.
AI edits are generated results and can contain mistakes. Matching an exact font or retaining every pixel is not guaranteed. This independent product is not an official OpenAI, Google, or KIE product.

Local captions are rendered on your device. AI workflows send the uploaded image and editing instructions to KIE.ai. Saved AI results are private to your account and available only during the applicable retention period. See the policies for data recipients, content rules, and deletion.
